Landing Page

There are so many different ways that I have learned this week to optimize my landing page. One of the greatest and most intriguing methods however, was the method of "look where everybody else is looking." The idea is that web creators play off of basic human nature. For example, if there is a car wreck on the road, what is everyone doing? They are looking to see what happened and what everyone else is looking at. So how do you use that in web design. When using people on your page, face them in the direction you want to look. Here is an example I pulled off of a quick google search:

Notice how the person is facing the wording that the creator would like the user to take part of. I found this method to be a particularly interesting way to optimize a page. Other simple ways that one can optimize their landing pages are by making them easy to navigate, including testimonials, matching your ad headlines with the landing page content and focusing the user on one particular call to action. All of the following will be great resources for finding simple ways that you can improve your landing page!
